We are a key regional player in business consulting and advisory services in East Africa. Aaran specializes in research, evaluation, program management and Capacity Building areas and aims at bridging capacity thus positively contributing to organizational growth and prosperity. Aaran Consulting offers professional consultancy services to None Governmental Organizations, Civil Society Organizations and governments. Aaran operates in Somalia providing services to local, regional, and international organizations as well as the Federal Members and the Federal government. Using a collaborative approach, Aaran Consulting works closely with organization leaders, staff, and stakeholders to enhance performance and enable organizations to achieve their unique mission and vision.

Aaran Consulting is governed by a board of directors comprising of five members, whose key responsibility is to steer t the strategic direction of Aaran Consulting and to preserve its interests. The board holds accountable the management team that is responsible for the day-to-day business of the organization.

4.3 Our Research Team

Aaran Consulting team under the stewardship of qualified and experienced professionals from different education backgrounds is envisioned to contributing to the socio-economic growth and development of its clients by providing quality and affordable services. Under the leadership of its visionary and great experienced directors in its specialization areas, Aaran is prepared and able to offer optimal consultancy services in fields of researching, data collection both qualitative and quantitative, and program over sighting, monitoring and evaluation, data management, team building, capacity development in both technical and soft skills and consultancy in other different areas. The areas of expertise are organized under supervision, enumeration, assessments and evaluations, technical report writing and capacity building.  Each of the technical areas of expertise is headed by a qualified and experienced specialist. 

Our company is growing – not only in the number of its employees and co-workers. We pay great attention to personal and professional development – our consultants, supervisors’ and enumerators are not only constantly bettering their education, but primarily are gaining more and more experience with the practical aspects of project management under Somalia  and international conditions – which is the greatest added value.

We have a sufficient number of project managers, consultants, supervisors, enumerators, M & E experts and trainer of trainees’ (TOTs) with recognized certification and expertise in global project management standards. Our services and consultancies have served a great number of program coordinators, senior supervisors, project managers and project team members from diverse organizations, institutions and firms.

This deepens client understanding, ownership while maximizing on skills transfer and capacity building thus building sustainable products for our clients. This reduces the need for clients to re-invest in consultant services, thereby saving substantial costs.
